Welcome to our web site. We are a congregation of Messianic Believers in Yeshua HaMashiach. We hope that you will find this resource an encouragement and blessing.

Our synagogue is made up of Jews and non-Jews from various backgrounds that have become one in Messiah. This ministry began over 20 years ago with a group of people who gathered to observe Shabbat on Friday evenings and also to celebrate the Biblical Holidays. Kehilat HaDavar is the place where we gather to encourage one another and to fellowship in The Word. There have been many changes in our congregation since those early years. But, our desire to serve Him in truth has not changed.

We are a part of a growing community of believers whose hearts are longing to fully understand the whole word (from Genesis to Revelation) so that we may live the Biblically based and Torah observant lifestyle of Yeshua - to embrace the instructions lived out and taught by His disciples. We recognize that Yeshua was the sacrificed lamb and the promised Messiah of Israel that allows both Jew and Gentile the opportunity to experience forgiveness of sin and enter into His covenant of salvation. It is our desire that He would continue to put His Word in our minds and write it on our hearts and that we would be His people.

Observing Shabbat, studying Torah, celebrating the Biblical Holidays and enjoying Davidic Dance are some of the ways we express the Jewishness of our faith. We also pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for unity among the believers in Messiah so that we can fulfill Adonai's purpose and bring honor to His name. Although we may find differing opinions on many issues, one thing is certain . . . The Bible is our guide. While the world is in chaos, as His children, we have access to a better way with instructions for everything we face in life. He has the answer for how we are to respond in every circumstance - in our success, in our failure, in tragedy, in making decisions and in our responsibilities concerning business, marriage, children, parents, family members, other believers and our local community.

We support the needy in Israel, needs in our community and other ministries laboring in the work of Messiah. We want to be as those in Acts 2:42 - “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

We're near the corner of GA120 and Hurricane Shoals road.  From GA316, exit at GA120.  Go South about 1/2 mile. Turn left on Hurricane Shoals at Applebee's.
